MisiBi is a place for friends, help and good things. The rules below apply everywhere: posts, photos, reels, stories, comments, profiles, messages and Free Market listings. Every rule has a code. When the team makes a decision, it tells you the code of the rule, so you know exactly what it is about.
CG-1 · Child safety
Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child is forbidden. We remove it at once, close the account and report it to the authorities.
CG-2 · Violence and threats
Do not threaten anyone, incite violence or praise it. Weapons are not sold or offered.
CG-3 · Harassment and insults
Do not stalk, humiliate or repeatedly insult anyone, in public or in messages.
CG-4 · Hate
Do not attack people for their ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex or orientation.
CG-5 · Sexual content
Nudity and explicit sexual content have no place on MisiBi.
CG-6 · Self-harm
Do not encourage suicide or self-injury. If someone is in danger, we help them find support.
CG-7 · Scams and gambling
Do not ask for money through lies, run schemes or promote betting. In the Free Market everything is given away: do not ask for money for a listing.
CG-8 · Spam
Do not send the same thing to many people, post repeatedly or use automated accounts.
CG-9 · Drugs and prohibited goods
Do not sell, offer or promote drugs or other goods prohibited by law.
CG-10 · Personal data
Do not publish someone else's details (address, phone, documents, private photos) without their consent.
CG-11 · Impersonation
Do not pretend to be someone else: a person, an organisation or the MisiBi team.
CG-12 · Harmful misinformation
Do not spread lies that can cause harm, for example about health or emergencies.
CG-13 · Copyright
Post only what is yours or what you are allowed to use. Rights holders can write to us through the contact page.
CG-14 · Animal cruelty
Do not show or encourage the torment of animals.
CG-15 · Other violations
Anything else that breaks the law or the MisiBi Terms.
What happens when a rule is broken
- The content may be hidden, and the author receives a warning.
- For repeated violations, the account may be paused from posting or suspended.
- For serious violations, especially those involving children, the account is closed at once.
- You receive a notification with the rule broken (its code) and the decision number.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal the decision within 30 days in the app: profile menu → Appeals, or by tapping the decision notification. The team looks again and answers you.
How to report
Tap the three dots next to a post, comment, profile, message or listing and choose "Report". The person reported is never told who reported them.
